Beacons, Public Art Project
Located landside of Terminal 5 International Arrivals at Chicago O'Hare International Airport, the Beacons are the first artworks seen upon entering the country, welcoming visitors from around the world.
Blue Beacon is located outside of gate B
Orange Beacon is located outside of gate A
The Beacons identify each gate with unique shape and color. Each is designed specifically to integrate within the existing architectural structure of Terminal 5
The Beacons is a Public Art Project commissioned by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, and is part of the Chicago Public Art Collection.
